Inspiring is a word that does not even come close to what Jon is but that is because there is so many that can describe his life. He came to speak to my Liberal Education class while we were studying ableism and he spoke about his life.

It was amazing for me to hear how Jon has turned his life into one big learning experience for others to find a sense of understanding and for others to relate to. Jon used his past experiences to teach us many things that we cannot often learn from any other speaker. He comes with a different view and perspective on how he sees his disability and how it does not affect him. Jon definitely has a characteristic about him that he is able to speak to and get in touch with many different audiences while giving off an amazingly inspiring message. He uses his humorous stories to let us know its ok to laugh at all things in the world no matter what they are and if you don’t have laughter then you don't have much!
